Day-by-Day Itinerary
Nairobi → Lake Nakuru National Park
Depart from Nairobi in the morning and drive through the scenic Great Rift Valley, with a brief stop for panoramic views and photos. Arrive at Lake Nakuru National Park, famous for its flamingos, rhinos, and diverse birdlife. Enjoy an afternoon game drive where you may spot white and black rhinos, Rothschild giraffes, buffaloes, and lions. Later, head to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.
Lake Nakuru → Masai Mara National Reserve
After breakfast, depart for the legendary Masai Mara National Reserve, Kenya’s most iconic safari destination. Arrive in time for lunch at your lodge or tented camp. In the afternoon, head out for your first game drive across the vast savannahs, searching for elephants, lions, cheetahs, and possibly the Big Five. Return to camp for dinner and overnight stay under the African skies.
Full-Day Masai Mara Safari Experience
Spend the entire day exploring the Masai Mara National Reserve with morning and afternoon game drives or a full-day safari with picnic lunch. Witness incredible wildlife action, including predator-prey interactions and large herds of wildebeest and zebras (seasonal migration). Optional experience: visit a traditional Maasai village to learn about their culture and lifestyle. Dinner and overnight at your lodge/camp.
Masai Mara → Nairobi
Enjoy an early morning game drive for a final chance to spot wildlife at sunrise. After breakfast, depart Masai Mara and drive back to Nairobi with scenic stops along the way. Arrive in the afternoon, marking the end of your safari adventure.
